Popcorn BallsPopcorn balls may not seem like a dessert to you, but when you realize just how sweet and delicious they are you will soon have a new favorite dessert. This is another one of those recipes where any child would enjoy helping in the kitchen.
In a medium saucepan, mix together the sugar, water, and molasses. Heat and stir until the mixture begins to boil. Then allow cooking until it reaches the hard ball stage. This is when a drop of the mixture forms a hard ball when dropped into a bowl of cold water. Remove from heat and add the margarine. Pour over popcorn and mix until well blended, form into balls.
