Low Carb Bread Recipes

This first low carb bread recipe is excellent and has the unique flavor of cheddar cheese.
For this low carb cheddar cheese bread recipe you will need: - 1/3 cup of soy flour,
- 1/3 cup of soy protein isolate,
- 2 eggs,
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder,
- 2 tablespoons of low fat sour cream,
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil,
- ½ cup of grated low fat cheddar cheese, and
- 2 teaspoons of oregano.
Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray your 8 ½ x 2 ½ loaf pan with a non-stick spray like Pam. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except the cheddar cheese. Mix well. Then gently fold one half of the cheddar cheese into the batter. Pour the batter into the baking pan and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
This low carb recipe takes a little longer to prepare but is definitely worth the wait.
You will need: - 1 cup of gluten flour,
- 2 cups of protein powder,
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
- 1 cup of wheat bran,
- 1 cup of ground almonds,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of dried yeast,
- and just enough water to form a dough.
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and gently kneed. Cover and let rise for just a few minutes. Mix and kneed again. Place in your baking dish and let rise once again. While the dough is rising, pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
