Soak the beans overnight in the refrigerator with just enough water to cover the beans. After soaking add the spices and bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for one hour. Brown the beef in a non-stick frying pan and add to the beans. Simmer again for an hour or longer until the beans and beef are tender and done. Add the salsa and continue cooking another 15 minutes until all the flavor is blended well. For this recipe you will need:
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. You will need a 13x9 baking pan preferable with a lid. If you do not have a lid you can use aluminum foil. Spray your baking pan with a nonstick spray such as Pam. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, yogurt, soup and chilies. Heat the flour tortilla just until soft. Spoon 3 tablespoons of sour cream in the center of each tortilla shell. Add the cheese, chicken and onions on top of the sour cream. Roll each tortilla shell and place in the baking pan with the seam down. Pour the rest of the sour cream over the top. Cover and bake for 30 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with the rest of the cheddar cheese and continue baking until cheese is melted.
