Sugar Free Low Carb Recipe

 Do not be fooled by the words Sugar Free Low Carb, they can be very tasty and delicious unlike most sugar free treats you find in the local grocery store. You will see just how great they taste once you try our recipe.

Sugar Free Low Carb. Red Velvet Cake

For this sugar free low carb. red velvet cake recipe you will need:

  • 1 ½ cup of vegetable oil,
  • 2 teaspoons of wine vinegar,
  • 1 ½ cup of sugar free chocolate syrup,
  • 2 eggs,
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla,
  • 8 ounces of low fat softened cream cheese,
  • 1 cup of gluten flour,
  • ½ cup of almond flour,
  • 1 ½ cup of malitol,
  • 3/8 teaspoon of Stevia,
  • 4 teaspoons of baking cocoa, and
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda.

The Icing

For the icing you will need:

  • 1 stick of softened low fat margarine,
  • 8 ounces of low fat cream cheese,
  • ¼ teaspoon of Stevia, and
  • 1 tablespoon of heavy cream.

The Drizzle

For the drizzle you will need:

  • 1 ounce of semi sweet chocolate and
  • 1 tablespoon of milnot.
     

Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix together oil, vinegar, syrup, vanilla, cream cheese and flour.

Spray your two 9 inch round baking pans with a non-stick spray and then evenly pour the mixture into the baking pans.

Bake for around 35 minutes or until the cake is completely done. With an electric mixer beat together the margarine, cream cheese, Stevia, and cream.

Spread the 1/3 of the icing on the first layer and then top with the other cake layer and ice this one with remaining icing including the sides.

Heat the semi-sweet chocolate and the cream together and warm until the chocolate melts completely and will drizzle over cake. Now, drizzle the chocolate over the top of the red velvet cake. Serve and enjoy.

This is also a great sugar free low carb recipe that is wonderful for serving after your dinner to all of your dinner guests. They will never know that it is sugar free and low carb.
