Healthy Fruit Recipe
Fruit is healthy and tastes so good!. Come to think of it, it is easy to eat too. All types of fruit can come together in this recipe to create and satisfy your fruit craving. You can substitute fruit that you like if you see an ingredient below that you just do not like. This healthy fruit recipe combines all three of these qualities with many different, yet delicious flavors. You will discover a new flavor in every bite. Ingredients: - 2 cups vanilla flavored fat free yogurt
- 1 banana, diced
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh strawberries cut in halves
- 1 kiwi fruit, diced
- 1 cup pineapple, cubed
- 1 pink lady apple, diced
- 1 cup nectarines, diced
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup granola
To Make: This is a fruit salad type recipe with a few revisions and additions. Frozen versions of the fruits listed above can be used. Strawberries are not always in season and if you choose to make this fruit recipe during that time, then you may have to use frozen or eliminate that specific fruit from this recipe. Canned pineapple may also be used in this recipe. In a small bowl, combine the fat free vanilla flavored yogurt, raisins, and the granola. Mix well. Now this recipe can be made two different ways. - The first way is to mix the yogurt, raisins, and granola in a mixing bowl and set aside. Then after cutting up all of the fruit, arrange the pieces on large serving tray, allowing everyone to dip the fruit into the yogurt dip or eat it alone.
- The other way to do this recipe is to combine all the ingredients into one large mixing bowl and serve small dishes of the fruit salad. Serve this dish cold and refrigerate any unused portion.
