Boneless Prime Roast Recipe
A boneless prime roast recipe is a very tasty and delightful meal that you will enjoy preparing as much as your dinner guests will enjoy eating. Prime roast if bought if your local grocery store may also be labeled rib eye steak. You can speak with the butcher if he does not have any boneless rib eye or prime roast displayed and see if you can persuade him to prepare one for you. This may not be possible at the local grocery store but at many butcher shops you can find a boneless prime roast just the right size to accommodate your dinner guests.
When creating a boneless prime roast you will hear that it is best to never cook the roast longer than is needed for preparing a medium rare roast. When you cook the roast longer it can become dry no matter what you try. You should always have a meat thermometer handy to ensure that the internal temperature in around 125 degrees Fahrenheit. First choose a roast that is large enough to feed your hungry guests, and then you will need other ingredients such as coarse salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, or other herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and whole garlic cloves. Now, that you have your ingredients, you are ready to create a delectable meal. Pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl combine the spices that you have chosen add just a tad of olive oil to make a paste. Now, generously rub and press the mixture into your roast. If you did not use garlic powder in the mixture you can now press whole garlic cloves into the roast and under the fatty layer. Place the roast into a roasting pan with the fatty side up. Bake just until the roast has browned. Then turn the temperature down to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and continue cooking for around 2hours or until desired doneness. You may add other vegetables during the last 45 minutes of baking. Then you will have a complete meal when the prime rib roast is ready.
