Here is what you will need for preparing this wonderful dish:

  •  1 package of chopped spinach (let de-thaw and drain before using),
  • 1 small can French fried onions,
  • 1 cup of Colby jack cheese (preferably shredded), salt,
  • 6 cube steaks,
  • 2 ½ teaspoons Dijon mustard,
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder.

To prepare this recipe begin by preheating your oven to 375 degrees F. Use a baking pan that is 13x9x2 and grease pan with

Mix together well the spinach, French fried onions, cheese, and salt in a bowl.

Place the meat on the counter or plate, spread with the mustard and the spread an even layer of the spinach mixture on top.

Push the mixture down to flatten. Roll up the beef cube steak and place it on another plate. Repeat this procedure with each cube steak.

After you have all the steaks prepared, spread the spinach mixture in the bottom of the baking dish and then place cube steaks on top of the mixture. Now, mix together the oil paprika, pepper, and garlic powder and spread over the cube steaks.

Cover the baking with a lid or aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Now, uncover and continue baking for another 10 minutes. This recipe goes excellent with rice or noodles.
