INGREDIENTS

  • Flour
  • 1-teaspoon cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 large onion
  • ½-cup beef broth
  • 1 ½ lb of round steak

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slice meat into serving size portions.
  2. Dust in flour, season with salt and pepper.
  3. In large skillet, brown meat over medium high heat and remove when golden.
  4. Add sliced onions and allow to cook for 5 minutes, place meat back into pan upon the cooked onions.
  5. Pour in ½ cup of beef broth and secure a tight fitting lid.
  6. Allow to simmer on low for about 1 ½ hours or until tender.
  7. Remove from skillet and serve immediately.
