Ham Steak Recipes
Ham steak recipes can be very easy to make and your family will love the results. Cooking ham steaks is a great way to give your family a nutritional meal that they will enjoy and will not take hours to prepare.
There are many ways in which to prepare ham steaks and several ham steak recipes that will help you find new ways to cook. This is one of my favorite.
You will need enough ham steaks for those attending your dinner, and seasoning salt. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Sprinkle the seasoning salt on both sides of your ham steaks.
Place the ham steaks on a cookie sheet or even a pizza pan. Bake for 20 minutes turning once. This is a very simple recipe, but also very delicious.
You can find ham steak recipes for ham kabobs that will sure be a treat for everyone in your family especially the kids. You will need the following ingredients for preparing ham kabobs
- oil for the grill.
- 1 pound of cooked ham steak,
- metal skewers, and
- 1 red pepper cut into chunks,
- 1 green pepper cut into chunks,
- cherry tomatoes,
- mushroom caps,
- pineapple chunks,
- 1 onion cut into chunks, and
- ½ cup of Italian dressing.
Prepare the grill by using some oil while the grill is still cold. Arrange the entire ingredients one after the other on the skewers. Brush them with the Italian dressing. Grill over medium heat approximately 5 minutes and then turn and grill another 5 minutes. This is one recipe the kids will really enjoy and will also love helping to prepare.
Ham steaks are what you make them. You can bake your ham steak in the oven and use a wonderful marinade that will make your family believe it is some special holiday. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Mix together, corn syrup, brown sugar, and pineapple juice until smooth. Rub this mixture on your ham steaks, place in the preheated oven. Baste your ham steaks every once in awhile while baking. Your ham steak is ready in 30 minutes.
