Pepper Steak RecipesIs there a secret to preparing delectable pepper steak recipes? Not really. Just finding the right recipe, which your family will enjoy, is the secret.
To begin you need to crush the peppercorns and pound your steaks with the peppercorns on them. This will make the peppercorns go into the steaks and will provide a wonderful unique flavor. You will need a large enough covered dish to place the steaks in the refrigerator. Mix the remaining ingredients Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce vinegar and hot sauce together. Place the steaks into the marinade that you just made and refrigerate covered for 2 hours. You never want to leave the steaks at room temperature to marinate. Bacteria will grow on warm meat. While the steak is marinating, combine all the next ingredients in a large bowl except oil, garlic, ginger and cornstarch mixture.. Prepare your wok by heating on high until the wok is hot. Now use the oil and swirl to coat all of the wok. Add the garlic and ginger cook for around 15 seconds. Now, add your slices of steak and cook until you can no longer see any pink. Remove the steak from the wok. Add a little more vegetable oil, swirl again to coat all sides. Next, add peppers and cook approximately 1 minute, add water and stir until they are a little tender. Now, place the steak back into the wok and add the sauce that you prepared above. Bring to a boil, add cornstarch mixture, and cook until sauce is desired consistency. Related Recipes:
