In a large bowl, crumble the cornbread and add the remaining ingredients. Place in a rectangular baking dish and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 40 minutes. Another variety of cornbread dressing that will delight your taste buds uses some wonderful and unique ingredients to bring a new and exciting flavor to your holiday meal. For this cornbread dressing recipe you will need to prepare your cornbread once again in advance and while preparing the cornbread also add 1 can of cream style corn to the ingredients that you use to create your cornbread. The remaining ingredients include: 4 tablespoons of margarine, ½ cup of chopped onions, ½ cup of chopped celery, 1 chopped green pepper, 4 minced garlic cloves, 2 teaspoons of oregano, 3 cups of chicken broth and salt and pepper to taste. In a large skillet sauté the onions, celery and garlic over medium heat until the onions are tender and translucent and the seasoning and chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a boil and remove from heat, and then crumble the cornbread into the mixture and toss. Bake in a baking dish for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
