For this first recipe for a curried cranberry glaze you will need ½ cup of chopped green onions, 3 teaspoons of curry powder, 3 tablespoons of margarine, 1 can of whole cranberry sauce and 3 tablespoons of corn syrup. First sauté the onions and the curry until the onion are tender and translucent and then stir in the cranberry sauce and the syrup. Continue cooking until mixture is warm, drizzle the glaze over your ham during the last 20 minutes of baking. You can also serve this glaze as a side for your guests that enjoy extra glaze on their ham. The Caribbean cranberry glaze is a delicious treat that everyone is sure to enjoy. You will need 1 cup of pineapple juice, ½ cup of brown sugar, ½ cup of chopped onion, 4 crushed cloves of garlic, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, ½ teaspoon of allspice, 1 small can of cranberry sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until blended. Baste your ham while baking around every 15 minutes until your ham is done. This recipe for cranberry sauce is very unique and your family will enjoy every delectable bite. You will need 1 large can of unsweetened cherries, 1 cup of cherry juice, 4 teaspoons of flour, ¼ cup of brown sugar, ½ cup of dried cranberries and 1 teaspoon of mustard. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan except for the mustard. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until the mixture thickens add the mustard, continue cooking until the mixture boils and thickens. Brush on your holiday ham the last 20 minutes of baking.
