Peach Sauce Recipes

Mash the peaches or use a blender until the peaches are smooth. In a medium saucepan mix together the peaches and the remaining ingredients over medium heat. Heat to boiling while stirring continuously. When the sauce has thickened you can serve is on the side or baste your holiday ham for a unique flavoring.

Another favorite Peach sauce recipe for your holiday ham is one that uses bourbon. Bourbon and peaches combined always create a delightful aroma and flavor that is not soon forgotten. For this recipe you will need ¾ cup of peach preserves, 1/3 cup of bourbon, 1/3 cup of your favorite fruit vinegar, 1 tablespoon of lime or lemon juice, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, and ½ teaspoon of ground cloves. In a saucepan over medium heat stir together all ingredients stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Brush the mixture on your holiday ham during baking.
