  • 4 eight ounce veal rib chops,
  • 3 tablespoons of lime or lemon juice,
  • 3 tablespoons of honey,
  • 2 tablespoons of grated ginger, and
  • ½ tablespoon of lime or lemon peel.

In a small bowl, stir together the juice, honey, ginger and peel. In a shallow dish with a lid, place the veal chops and brush all sides with the honey mixture, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Prepare your grill while the veal chops are marinating. When your grill is ready, brush the veal chops with the honey mixture again and grill over medium heat for 6 to 7 minutes and then turn the veal chops over and cook an additional 6 to 7 minutes or until desired doneness is achieved.

Other wonderful veal chop recipes include different sauces and ingredients that you are sure to love such as Veal Cacciatore. For this recipe you will need:

  • 4 Veal Chops,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 green pepper,
  • 2 sprigs of parsley,
  • ¼ cup olive oil,
  • 1 large can of tomato sauce,
  • 1/3 cup white wine,
  • ¼ teaspoon instant minced garlic,
  • 1 teaspoon oregano,
  • 1 bay leaf and salt and pepper to taste.

You will also need your favorite pasta. Prepare the onion, green pepper, and parsley by slicing or snipping. In a large skillet with just a tad of oil brown the veal chops on both sides, then add the onion and green pepper. Sautee until the onions and peppers are tender. Gently stir in the remaining ingredients and cook on medium heat for about one hour. Serve over hot buttered pasta.
